About Us

The Brides Boudoir is an online wedding magazine publishing regular wedding editorials, features, resources and tips to brides and grooms in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. The magazine launched in April 2013 and is designed to appeal to .couples between 20-40 years of age. These couples are either looking at engagement, or are engaged and planning to marry within 12-18 months of key related web searches for bridal resources and wedding planning services.

STATISTICS & READERSHIP

Recent surveys show that over 116’000 couples will marry every year in Australia (approximately 20’000 couples in New Zealand) alone. Of those weddings, the typical Australian bride will spend on average an excess of over AU$20’000 dollars. The Kiwi brides will typically spend around NZ$30’000.

The average young couple looking for resources are extremely fashion conscious and searching for wedding articles, tips and resources that reflect current technological trends. They’re smart phone savvy, use a range of devices to connect to the web and are often social network orientated using several platforms to communicate with friends, relatives or businesses.

Much of the businesses using networking platforms are are often scattered and not correlated on a wedding related networking platform. The average bride or groom spends considerable time and effort wading through many websites to find industry professionals as there are now more and more wedding service providers with an online presence.

Like any online consumer, brides and grooms wish to find the best resources and wedding services in a modern format in one organised database and website. They also like to use the web with many different devices, so a website designed to meet their technological needs is an advantage.

TBB offers the following services:

  • Free online wedding related articles
  • Wedding Forums
  • A Wedding Business Directory

Many online users are now well aware that they can find almost any good and services or information online. They can shop around for the best service or product, but finding this in one place is has obvious advantages.

Brides and grooms also enjoy sharing their excitement in a networking format, so enabling them to use current technology was an important step in website construction. Since the average man or woman between 20 – 40 years is now accomplishing many tasks via mobile phone or internet, it was important to cater to many different devices and operating systems or varied tastes.
